Tanise Suspension Bridge

Tanise Suspension Bridhe in Totsukawa Village, Nara Prefecture.

The bridge crosses the Totsukawa River, and was originally built for people living in the area in1954.


The suspension bridge is 297.7 meters in length, and 54 meters in height.
Well, I was afraid of the height, and couldn't cross it!
Do you think you can do it?

谷瀬の吊り橋、奈良県十津川町。
十津川に掛かるこの箸はもともと近隣に住む人達のために１９５４年に建設されたものです。

全長297.7ｍ、高さ54ｍ！

Yumura Hotspring, Hyogo Prefecture.
The name of the town, 'Yumura',, literally means 'Hotspring Village'.
The temperature of Yumura's hot springs is very high(98°C).


You can boil eggs in the boiling water in the small baths on the riverside.

湯村とはその名のとおり、「湯」の「村」。
湯村の泉温はなんと９８度もあるんです！

Hodaka Mountain Range!

Hodaka Mountain Range!
The ropeway there is one of the oldest in Japan. And the most interesting feature about the ropeway is its double decker gondola cars!
It actually climbs 1000 meters up the hill of the mountain range, which is soooo thrilling!!!


穂高連峰！
新穂高ロープウェイは日本で最も古いロープウェイの一つ。
ゴンドラが二階建てです！
1000mも一気に登るので、すご〜くスリリング！！

Shirakawa-go, last Friday.
It was such a beautiful day to enjoy walking around the small village.
This village is deep in the mountains in Gifu Prefecture, and a bit far from the terminals for tourists such as Osaka, or Tokyo, but still it's worth visiting!!
And there actually are lots of tourists from around the world!


先週金曜日の白川郷です。
とても良いお天気で散策に最適な一日！
岐阜県の山奥にあるこの村、大きな都市からは離れているけれど、行ってみる価値は絶対にあり！
実際、世界中からたくさんの観光客がお越しでした。

Kakigori (shaved ice with syrup)!!!
You can't survive the hot summer in Japan without this!
There are many kinds of syrup you can choose from:
mactha, strawberry, lemon, melon, milk flavors etc...


This one is the matcha flavor with red beans on top.
Yummy!

かき氷。
日本の暑い夏を乗り切るにはやっぱりこれは欠かせません！
抹茶味、イチゴ味、レモンにメロンにミルクに・・・いろいろありますね！
この紗品のものは抹茶にあずきをトッピング。
美味しそう〜！

I visited here many years ago, and it was just amazing!
The trekking courses there are relatively easy even for beginners.
